How long does the food last?
Valley Food Storage food is processed and packed to last for 25 years. When stored properly, your long-term food storage should be ready anytime you need it. All of our products have a guaranteed shelf life of 25 years unless our packaging is opened, damaged or tampered with.
How will shipping work?
Shipping is charged at fair and competitive rates
Customers outside the lower 48 US states are able to purchase but are responsible for any duty and import taxes that may apply.
Valley Food Storage reserves the right to choose the most economical method of shipping, from traditional to freight.
If your order is in stock it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at info@valleyfoodstorage.com
Is your food organic?
This is a complex question. While our food is simple, we choose not to seek an "organic" designation for a variety of reasons - including paying the costs associated with the label, which would drive prices up for our valued customers.
Is your food non-GMO?
Yes. While many of our competitors regularly rely on these to save money, we believe in keeping our food wholesome and nutritious.
Do you use preservatives or fillers?
Never. When you read our nutrition labels, our calories and serving sizes are based strictly off of clean food - not fillers. Many of our competitors artificially increase their calories count with fillers. We do not.
What is your return policy?
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@valleyfoodstorage.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
We offer a 30 day return policy. If you are within 30 days of purchase, send us an email at info@valleyfoodstorage.com. Once approved, send your item to: Valley Food Returns 115 W Barges Street in Suite 401, Akron OH 44311 USA.
Food items
We will process a return and refund the cost of unused and unopened food, if the food is returned in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To be eligible for a return, your unused and unopened items must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from returns, such as Gift Cards.

Once we receive and inspect your return we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once processed, please allow 3-5 business days for bank processing time of your refund.
Can you guarantee the meals in my Kit?
These family emergency kits contain a mix of our best-selling meals. Kits are stocked based on inventory availability. Customization and substitution cannot be accommodated at this time.
