And I could be wrong, but as someone who's worked in this business for awhile, I think it's sometimes on purpose.
At the end of the day, you're simply trying to get the most value for the hard-earned money you plan on spending to prepare for an emergency.
This is where I would scratch my head trying to figure out why people are shopping at other places to simply buy really expensive plain white rice you can get for much cheaper at the grocery store? Or spend money on dozens of servings of sugary drinks? Or pay for brownies that are going to make you sluggish during a survival situation?
